Job Description
As
a Front desk/Administrative Staff for Vision Capital Eye Hospital, you will perform the following duties:
- Provide a warm reception, instructions and general assistance to patients.
- Handle patient registration on the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Receive inbound and outbound calls from patients.
- Providing answers to patients' queries about the hospital's services.
- Book patients' appointments and send appointment reminders.
- Create and update/verify patient and health insurance in the hospital's Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Confirm patients' health insurance eligibility.
- Relay any relevant medical and/or insurance updates/changes to appropriate departments.
- Collect/explain payment policies and billing/collections processes.
- Bill patients according to agreed tariff (HMO, Private, Retainers).
- Post daily bill payments into the hospital's EMR system.
- Carryout patient/customer satisfaction surveys, review patients' complaints and feedback.
- Collate data report on patient/customer satisfaction surveys.
- Additional duties as assigned by Chief Medical Officer.
Qualification
- · Minimum of BSc from a
recognized college or institution
- · 0-3 year post-NYSC graduate who is smart and tech-savvy
- · Working experience with EMR system is a plus.
Reporting Line
You
will work closely with the HMO Officer, Accounts/Inventory Officer, Providers,
Patients, and outside Vendors as requested. You will report to the Human
Resource Officer and Chief Medical Director as needed.

Working Condition
Full-time
on-site work from either of our branches (Magodo, Victoria Island and Ajao)
Office
Hours: Weekdays - 8.30 am - 5 pm and Saturday - 8.30 am - 4 pm
Working
environment - This job operates in a professional office environment. This role
routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones,
photocopiers, and filing cabinets
Physical
Demand - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required
to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands
